RSS Finance is seeking a Principal Financial Analyst to join our Operations Finance team.
The RSS Ops Finance team is responsible for developing the Operations Material and Labor Earned Value and EACs primarily using PRISM EV. The Principal Financial Analyst will be a primary Point of Contact for overseeing these responsibilities. The Point of Contact will work with senior personnel and administration and is the Operations Finance liaison between Operations and the Program Management Office. As a member of the finance team, the POC will ensure all required inputs are reviewed, analyzed and submitted on time. The POC will provide Operations CAM Support including EAC development, material analysis, Baseline Change Requests, and variance analyses.
Other responsibilities include utilizing APEX, PRISM and BW to complete the above requirements, providing financial support and analysis, early and continuing assessment of program risks, opportunities for changing business conditions and maintaining system data integrity.
The POC also makes recommendations for improvement using R6S, including the automation of reporting so there is optimal time for analysis. In addition this position needs to be able to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
Required Skills:
___ 6+ years related work experience
___ Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
___ Candidate should be self-starter and require minimal supervision
___ Ability to quickly learn and utilize program management systems and tools; and autonomously create and accurately analyze cost data
___ Excellent communication skills (written and oral) to support the preparation and presentation of written briefs and summaries for internal/external dissemination across varying levels of the organization
Desired Skills:
___ Working knowledge of MRP, MPM, wInsight, PMX
___ Industry experience
___ Experience in organizing, preparing and presenting briefings to Customers, Administration and peers

Required Education:
___ Bachelor___s Degree in Finance or related discipline or 10 years related finance work experience in lieu of Degree.
