AMAT- PDC tools do inspection and analysis of defects, in chip fabrication process.

In the basis of these tools there are optical and electronic microscopes that makes use of top edge technologies from Physics, Electronics, Motion and control and other disciplines.

Our tools incorporate many motion systems from wafer navigation to optical elements positioning – all with vary challenging performance requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Management of Servo and control development team
  • Leading Motion projects
  • Specifications definition
  • Technology and vendors selection
  • Electrical and mechanical design
  • Modeling and simulating, motion profiles and control design
  • System integration.


  • Experienced Motion engineer, with 5 years and more of motion/servo systems design.
  • Proven management experience
  • Stage systems design experience
  • Familiar with motion technologies and key components – motors, bearings, sensors, controllers.
  • Strong theoretical background in motion control
  • Modeling and simulating sub systems (model-sim and other advanced tools) behavior and motion profiles.
  • Preference to MSC in control, and proven experience in that field.
