Digital Illustrator - Military Veterans

Raytheon Technologies is currently searching for a skilled Digital Illustrator to join a Media Production Team in Northern Virginia. As part of a collaborative team, the Digital Illustrator will participate and contribute throughout all stages of a digital media storytelling process. They will help review production requests, conceptualize artistic visual ideas and produce creative and compelling content that supports our mission.
Required Skills/Experience/Education: ___
  • Bachelor___s degree in design, visual arts or a related field (equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of education)
  • Demonstrated professional experience working as an illustrator, graphic designer or similar role
  • Extensive knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • The ability to draw and sketch with artistic detail by hand and or digital pen
  • Convert original hand drawn art into digital illustrations
  • Must present a professional demeanor and be able to work and participate effectively within a team environment as well as self ___ guided
  • Must possess thorough communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must have the ability to guide priorities, meet deadlines and work well within a passionate, multi-tasking environment
  • Applicants will be required to submit examples of work by way of online portfolio or as completed illustrations
This position requires an active (or ability to obtain) U.S. Security Clearance, for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. This position is contingent upon program/customer concurrence. Candidates must be willing to undergo a rigorous background check.
