POSITION SUMMARY: 

Individual will be responsible for assisting the Project/Program Control Specialist and Program Manager with administrative duties that may consist of, but not be limited to: formatting/editing of documents, preparing/editing/formatting required reports for the customer and Program Management Office.  Also acts as a liaison between Project Managers and the Program Management Office. Other duties may be assigned as required.   


Responsibilities

MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES: 

 

  1. Prepare charts, tables, graphs, and diagrams to assist in analyzing problems
  2. Assist in preparing project management plans, project documentation, and reports;
  3. Submit monthly status reports, submit trip reports, prepare consent forms,
  4. Prepare Personnel Movements Reports
  5. Assist in preparing project management plans
  6. Other duties and assignments as directed by the Program Manager

 

MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:  

Desktop computer, Printer/copier/scanner, Fax machine, Cell phone.

 

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Working environment is in a climate-controlled office building.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:

Must be able to lift/push/pull 20 lbs.


Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.

 

High School diploma or GED.  Some college preferable.

 

Experience:

GENERAL:

Intermediate level experience in performing a variety of administrative functions. Schedules appointments, gives information to callers and takes dictation. Composes memos, transcribes notes, and researches and creates presentations. Generates reports, handles multiple projects, and prepares and monitors invoices and expense reports. May assist with compiling and developing the annual budget. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks.  A candidate with three years’ experience as an administrative assistant is preferable. 

 

Skills:

 

Must have keyboard experience and ability to communicate effectively with others. 

  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Active Secret Clearance
