Oasis Systems has an exciting opportunity for Test Manager, Senior located at the Wright Patterson AFB in Dayton, OH.

 

LOCATION: Wright Patterson AFB, Dayton OH

JOB STATUS: Full-time

TRAVEL: As required, see below

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Certifications, Experience, Skills)

 

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must hold a minimum of an active DoD Secret Clearance

 

EDUCATION:  Advanced Degree (MA/MS) and ten years of experience in the respective technical/ professional discipline being performed with proper certifications as described in the Labor Category performance requirements.

 

OR, BA/BS degree, and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed with proper certifications as described in the Labor Category performance requirements.

OR, 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the Labor Category performance requirements.

 

EXPERIENCE LEVEL: A Senior labor category typically works on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently. A Senior labor category may oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all contracted staff assigned to a specific job.

 

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS: 

  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access), Microsoft Internet Explorer, and other standard (Customer specified) applications.)
  • Must be able to transport self to various facility sites, as required. If using own motor vehicle, must possess a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
  • May require lifting to 25 pounds.
  • Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard.

General Information

 

3.6.3 Test and Evaluation

The Contractor shall provide test and evaluation technical support, systems analyst /subject matter technical support, and systems software test and evaluation support.

 

The Contractor shall assist in the designing, planning, execution, analysis and reporting phases of test and evaluation programs to assess the performance of aeronautical systems, subsystems and equipment through the various acquisition phases and milestones.

 

The Contractor shall assist in the preparation, maintenance, update and review of the full range of test and test-related documentation for adequacy, specification/performance requirement compliance, and conformity with mandatory guidance and provide recommendations as necessary for improvement.

 

3.11 Test & Evaluation (T&E) Support

3.11.1 Test Assessments

 

The Contractor shall assist in the designing, planning, execution, analysis and reporting phases of test and evaluation programs (including any applicable FAA certifications and procedures) to assess the performance of aeronautical systems, subsystems and equipment throughout each acquisition phase and milestone.

 

The Contractor shall assist in preparing, maintaining, updating, and reviewing the full range on test and test-related documentation for adequacy, specification/performance requirement compliance, conformity with mandatory guidance and provide recommendations as necessary for improvement.

 

The Contractor shall provide assistance in the recommendation, assessment, and analyses of test and evaluation strategies, requirements and objectives. The Contractor shall provide assistance in the recommendation and assessment of test data requirements necessary to meet program objectives within cost and schedule constraints.

 

The Contractor shall provide recommendations to the Government on integrated data processing, software and analysis considerations.

 

3.11.2 Document Preparation

The Contractor shall assist with preparing, maintaining, updating, and reviewing the full range of test and test-related documentation for adequacy, specification/performance requirement compliance, conformity with mandatory guidance, and provide recommendations as necessary for improvement.

 

The Contractor shall assist in proposing and coordinating detailed test plans and programs to assist in the determination of objectives, schedules and cost.

 

3.11.3 Analysis

The Contractor shall assist in the performance of tradeoff studies and recommending alternative test strategies and approaches to the government.

The Contractor shall participate in integrated test teams, test readiness reviews and other test related program events as necessary.

 

The Contractor shall assist in the determination of capability and availability of major DoD and civilian test resources and facilities.

 

The Contractor shall provide support for monitoring, assessing status, and reporting on test and evaluation efforts of systems at Contractor and government facilities.

 

The Contractor shall assist in performing data analysis using modeling and simulation techniques, models, computer simulations or other tools/methods.

 

The Contractor shall use analysis results to recommend changes in testing techniques, procedures, and identify potential areas for further investigation.
