The iOS Car Experience team is looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated systems engineer with 5+ years experience to help provide technical design and development support to automotive partners from initial concept through production launch. You will join a hands-on development team that cultivates creativity and generates novel solutions to deliver fantastic automotive user experiences with iOS devices.

  • Excellent cross-disciplinary debugging and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills
  • Creativity and passion for design
  • Comfort with sophisticated systems, fast-paced environments, and tight schedules
  • Deep understanding of wireless technologies
  • Experience working in a technical support position (automotive industry preferred)
  • 5 years automotive industry experience and/or experience shipping high-volume consumer products
  • Project leadership responsibilities
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%
  • Experience with in-vehicle infotainment systems preferred

Description
In this position, you will cooperate with a variety of cross and multi-functional team members from a diverse array of groups across the company and at partner companies. You will coordinate with automotive industry engineering and development teams to understand how to integrate iOS car integration features into their systems and achieve the best end user experience. We work with internal teams in the development stages of new features and recommend solutions that will work for our partners, then collaborate on specifications.
