Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat mental disorders, learning disabilities, and cognitive, behavioral, and emotional problems using individual, child, family, and group therapy. Complete psychological evaluations. Attend court hearings as needed.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of the emotional, cognitive and behavioral competence of individuals served
  • Develop detailed interventions to challenging behaviors exhibited
  • Participate in the development and review of psychotropic medication plans
  • Train staff in the principles and practices of behavioral interventions
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Psychology required
  • License to practice Psychology required
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Minimum of one-year experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or other developmental disabilities
