This state-of-the-art inpatient physical rehabilitation center focuses on
traumatic injuries, brain/neurological disease, as well as orthopedic and spinal injuries.
With a focus on recovery, occupational and physical therapies help patients improve or re-learn daily functions while providing 24hr nursing care.

Med/Surg Inpatient Physical Rehabilitation:
Supporting services include psychological services and speech therapy.
The Registered Nurse reports directly to the unit Clinical Manager,
and is responsible and accountable for the delivery of patient care through the utilization of the nursing process in accordance with physicians' orders, established policies and procedures, established professional standards, and administrative hospital-wide policies.
Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for the planning, directing, and provision of nursing care to patients in accordance with Florida Nurse Practice Act, physician's orders, recognized nursing techniques, policies, procedures, established standards and administrative policies.

Qualifications

FL RN License and/or approved multistate license, if compact license held, active FL RN license held, active FL RN license required within 90 days of hire

Current BLS through American Heart Association required

Direct inpatient rehab experience; one year or more preferred in hospital setting involving extensive knowledge of rehab/criteria.

CRRN preferred

Education: Nursing Diploma
