The RF Test Engineer will:
- Direct customer (Prime and USG) daily interface
- Provide on-the-job training for artisans
- Technical interface with the OEM engineering
- Design, develop, and implement testing methods including test equipment needs
- Troubleshoot and support RF hardware
- Analyze test data and identify early trends
- Compile data and define changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, or new testing requirements
- Collaborate with design engineering to develop and implement hardware improvements and solutions
- Monitor product yields and aggressively work to maintain program yield targets
- Collaborate with OEM engineering in developing root cause and corrective actions
- Attend program meetings to report yield issues, yield detractor investigation finding, and corrective actions
- Interface with Depot and LM management, Depot technicians, Depot and LM engineers, design engineers, system engineers, program management and program support teams
- Relocation funding to FRCSE Jacksonville Florida may be available
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors of Science degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or other STEM Field and 5 years of related experience; 3 years' experience with an MS degree.
- Experience with RF test equipment (scopes, power meter, spectrum analyzer, signal generator)
- Familiarity with basic concepts of RF circuit design and troubleshooting
- Effective Communication skills
- Active US Secret clearance is required.
- Experience with automated testing
- Familiarity with test planning and test scenario development
- Experience with requirement analysis
- Experience with Root Cause Correct Action investigations.
- Circuit card assembly (CCA) level test experience
