Principal Program Cost Schedule & Control Analyst - Military Veterans

This is a great opportunity for a Principal Program Cost Schedule & Control Analyst to grow their skill set while supporting programs in the Advanced Radar product line group in the Advanced Concepts and Technology (ACT) Mission Area. The ACT mission area includes a multitude of programs typically working on the front end of developing latest technologies. This position is a Principal Analyst for the ACT programs currently operating out of El Segundo California. The analyst will provide comprehensive finance support to various external programs by effectively partnering with other analysts, program managers and their teams to realize effective execution at each site. This role is responsible for program budget/baseline control, EVMS, and ensuring that all required finance inputs, including internal and external reporting are prepared, reviewed, and submitted on time.

Key responsibilities will include Earned Value Management, Cost/Schedule baseline integration and maintenance, variance analysis and reporting, Risk and Opportunity management, Invoicing/Cash Management, and Estimate at Completion preparation. Additionally, this role will prepare business cases for potential return on investments for Special Projects, prepare Company Funds Requests (CFRs), and Appropriation Requests (ARs) as required. The effective candidate will regularly engage to be integral in reviews and catalyzing business results and decisions impacting all aspects of financial performance.

Required Skills:

___+ 6 years of related work experience
___Prior program experience in Earned Value & Budget Baseline Management (EVMS)
___Excellent problem-solving and forecasting skills
___Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to effectively convey data into information with various levels of the organization, peers, and customers
___Invoicing & Cash Management experience, preferably in proprietary setting
___A proactive and positive attitude with demonstrated capacity to work in a deadline driven environment
___Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, MS Word)
___U.S. Citizenship


Desired Skills:

___Excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively multitask parallel activities
___Experience in organizing, preparing, and presenting briefings to administration, customers, and peers
___Proficiency using SAP, Business Warehouse (BW) and APEX/APEX EV and/or Deltek EVMS Software (MPM)
___+6 years of related defense work experience
Active DoD Secret Clearance

Required Education:
Bachelor___s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, and Accounting or related discipline

Desired Education:
Master___s Degree in Business / Finance or related discipline
