The Administrative Nursing Supervisor provides leadership and is responsible for the delivery of safe, quality, patient-centered care for assigned department/shift. Ensures department's standard of nursing practice, nursing policies and procedures meet legal, and all accrediting and regulatory agency requirements.

Qualifications

Education

Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred

Experience

Minimum 2 years previous clinical RN experience in a hospital environment required.
Two years prior experience in a supervisory and/or management role preferred.
Critical Care experience preferred.

Licensure/Certification

Current FL State RN License required or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held, active Florida RN license required within 90 days of hire.
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
Current CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) required within 60 days of hire.
Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills
