The purpose of this position is to supervise a high performing team responsible for handling product safely, efficiently and effectively as it moves through the facility. The Location Manager works with leaders to monitor production volume, assigns or reassigns Operations Team Members to product related tasks involving receiving (and put-away), picking (order-fill), shipping product, or performing other tasks. The Manager must respond quickly to changing workflow conditions and contribute positively to the facility’s key performance indicators. The Location Manager must also be able to mentor and build a culture of safety among Team Members to achieve a safe working environment.

**Responsibilities**

+ Serves as the on-site management of a Flatbed Distribution Center (FDC)

+ Responsible for the execution of all functions at the facility, including: the daily, weekly and annual operational planning and execution to meet store service requirements.

+ Recruit, train, and manage up to 50 plus employee workforce.

+ Manage relationships with the store customers, local community, suppliers to the facility, and corporate constituents of the facility.

+ Develop and nurture a positive, focused, and productive work environment for all team members.

+ Ensure all corporate policies and procedures are adhered to and short and long term plans are implemented.

+ Effective stewardship of Lowe’s corporate resources.

+ Pursues professional growth and provides developmental opportunities for others by soliciting and acting on performance feedback

+ Building collaborative, cross-functional relationships; hiring, training, and developing talent for growth opportunities

+ Delegating tasks and decisions; fostering open dialogue amongst team members

+ Working closely with employees to set goals and provide open feedback and coaching to drive performance improvement

+ Manages designated work stream to meet customer and business needs by translating business plans into tactical action items

+ Aligning team efforts; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results

+ Identifying and addressing improvement opportunities

**Required Minimum Qualifications**

+ Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience

+ 10+ years of operations experience in a large volume center environment

+ 5+ years of leadership experience with direct reports, including experience leading managers

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Experience in customer service, retail or call center

+ Lean Six Sigma Certification (Yellow belt or above)
