This role leads the evaluation, planning and implementation of new technologies to meet current and future technology needs of the organization. This individual sets direction for IT operations and leads teams responsible for all aspects of infrastructure engineering, systems administration, IT security and compliance. The ideal candidate has a strong command of enterprise technologies, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for collaborating with internal business partners to optimize technology services.

MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES

  • Defines target architecture, roadmaps and timelines for implementation of technology solutions to meet business requirements
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to align technology with business strategies and objectives; supports technology investment planning and business case development
  • Leads enterprise cloud migration strategy and execution
  • Leads evaluation, selection, design and implementation of enterprise technology solutions
  • Oversees, improves and upgrades enterprise technology services, software and hardware
  • Integrates operational and industry best practices for service delivery and support, including Enterprise ITIL-based processes
  • Leads multiple teams that are responsible for infrastructure engineering, systems administration and IT security
  • Provides direction to teams to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with cost, schedule, scope and quality objectives
  • Analyzes service delivery performance and leads continuous service improvement activities
  • Serves as the lead IT focal point for new customer/program phase-in planning and execution
  • Leads technology integration of new businesses as required with corporate mergers & acquisitions
  • Interfaces with, and contributes to overall success of the Global Customer Service, International IT Operations, and Business Applications teams
  • Manages key supplier relationships and negotiates agreements (e.g., IT services, software licenses, Cloud, hardware)
  • Participates in budget planning with responsibility for achieving department budget objectives

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related field
  • Enterprise Architecture and/or ITIL certifications or training beneficial.
  • Ability to obtain U.S. Secret Clearance.

Experience

  • Ten (10+) years' of evaluating, planning, implementing and operating enterprise infrastructure technology solutions.
  • Ten (10+) years' of experience defining and guiding the implementation of enterprise architectures and technology standards.
  • Enterprise transformation planning, roadmaps and execution
  • Building project plans and executing projects meeting cost, schedule and deliverable requirements.
  • Cloud migration, administration and operations.
  • Broad experience implementing and supporting technology and IT security solutions.
  • Management of on-prem data center and Cloud resources.
  • Security architecture and IT controls implementation and .operations (NIST SP 800-171, SOx IT General Controls, ISO/IEC 27002).
  • Leadership of diverse teams responsible for multiple technology, security and compliance disciplines.
  • Management of strategic supplier relationships and associated agreements.
  • Previous experience with a DoD contractor beneficial.

  • Microsoft core applications (e.g., Windows Server, Exchange, Active Directory, SharePoint, SCCM), O365, and IaaS Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Supervises multiple teams comprised of engineers, systems administrators, compliance and project managers.

Travel

  • 10-20% of the Time
