At Centennial Medical Plaza, our team offers a convenient location for the residents of Centennial, CO who are experiencing an emergency. Open 24/7, 365 days a week, patients are seen by a physician or other healthcare provider within 25 minutes. As the only hospital/ER in Centennial, we offer 19 beds, private rooms and easy access to The Medical Center of Aurora resources and specialists for advanced care, if necessary. 

 

Position Summary:  

 

  •  

    This position supports the mission of The Medical Center of Aurora/ Centennial Medical Plaza. 

     

  •  

    Performs mammography exams utilizing digital technology, prepares room with necessary equipment and supplies. 

     

  •  

    Provides care for assigned patients. Maintains technical skills and is responsible for proper use of equipment to minimize hazard and maximize patient safety. 

     

  •  

    Secondary duties include clerical duties, answering phones, ordering supplies, stocking the department, maintaining files, and general cleaning. 

     

  •  

    Assist in collecting data for PI monitors and conducting QC on equipment.   

     

  •  

    Assures a safe patient care environment.

Minimum Requirements: 

 

  •  

    MQSA/FDA requires general radiography and mammography certification by ARRT.  

     

  • Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.

  •  

    ARRT Mammography Registered or Registry Eligible.  

     

  • 40 contact hours training in mammography or equivalent experience.  

  • 15 CME credits every 36 months specific to mammography (including 3 CME’s in each specific mammography sub-modality -i.e. stereotactic biopsy - if applicable)                                

  •  

    1 year Mammography experience preferred, but not required
