Team Description

USD Cash Operations team is primarily responsible for the provision of payment processing and investigation services to our global Financial Institution (FI) and Corporate Clients. The team also undertakes an element of Funds Release and Static Data activities. USD Cash Operations is primarily supporting the Global Transaction Banking business. Global Transaction Banking provides commercial banking products and services for both corporate clients and financial institutions worldwide. Our universal expertise and global network allows us to offer truly integrated and effective solutions.

Position Specific Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  • This role will be in charge of requests from our AFC and Compliance teams as well as support for our escheatment process
  • High levels of client communication to resolve account inquiries regarding the above areas
  • Includes support to provide communication regarding legal inquiries, subpoenas, and escheatment to the requesting parties in a timely and accurate manner
  • Responsible for ensuring timely, complete and accurate processing of transactions/investigations (including performing all relevant controls) within own area of responsibility
  • Functions as an operations lead with minimum guidance and is accountable for the ensuring that the day-to-day activities are aligned to the business objectives
  • Ensure efficient team structure through effective resource management, focusing on ensuring correct sills for roles and optimum resourcing level for the team
  • Close collaboration with Teams in India and United States, including sales and product
  • Appliance and strict adherence to all internal and external guidelines / policies and regulatory directives as well as SLAs, KRIs and / or KPIs and Quality measurements
  • Uses knowledge and experience from your own area of responsibility to inform the design and implementation of strategies to eliminate waste and improve efficiency and performance of existing processes and reports
  • Ability to identify and implement innovative solutions to operational problems
  • Ensures appropriate escalation of operational, regulatory and other risks to the COO and functional Leadership functions; contributes to the development and implementation of solutions to monitor and mitigate risk
  • Gathering, validating and objectively analyzing relevant information to identify key issues, drawing sound conclusions and making decisions on the appropriate course of action
  • Support for Release Management and test activities
  • MIS reporting and analysis of statistical data, inclusive search for new data source for evaluations and control of data

      Experiences/ Exposure:
      • You will have relevant previous experience in business management, project management, within financial services industry
      • You will have experience working with global teams
      • You will have relevant previous experience working with regulatory bodies
      • You will have process and operational strategic knowledge
      • Relevant experience in one or more specific technical areas
      • Knowledge about the Bank system landscape preferable
      • A high degree of accuracy, efficiency, attention to detail and delegation skills are required
      • Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays
      • Willingness to work in shifts (within the allowable working time frame)

      • You should have experience in MS-Office tools (i.e. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
      • Previous experience across multiple product areas with good knowledge of cash management products (i.e. funds transfer, automated clearing house, check processing, lockbox, investment sweeps etc. is preferred

        Education/ Qualifications:
        • Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
        • Master's degree in Business Management/Finance/Banking/Economics or related disciplines is an advantage
        • Any certifications in the OFAC Sanctions or AML area will be appreciated
