Position Category: Faculty General Description: Niagara County Community College has a need for part time accounting instructors to teach various accounting courses within the Business, Technology & Arts division. This position will be responsible for teaching students throughout the academic semester who are enrolled at Niagara County Community College. Remuneration for persons teaching at least 3 credits in a semester: $797 per lecture hour/$714 per lab hour. Typical Work Activities: Teach Accounting courses in the delivery format agreed upon (on campus, hybrid, blended or online) Track attendance as needed Complete census reports Report on student learning outcomes at the end of the semester Report grades at the conclusion of the semester Essential Functions: Ability to work with, and teach a diverse student population. Ability to speak in front of groups of people. Must be able to effectively communicate with students, co-workers, supervisors and the campus community. Must be able to develop, prepare and present information. Must able to operate computers. Must be able to physically perform the duties of the position. Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, and a Master's degree in Education or Business.
