Job Summary

**This position is contingent upon contract award**

Amentum is seeking a Software Engineer - Robotics and Autonomous Systems to perform subsystem definition,

preliminary and detailed design, design implementation, subsystem and system integration, and test for a subsystem.

Essential Duties:
  • Participate in software requirements review, preliminary and critical design reviews, integration readiness review, and software acceptance reviews.
  • Support proposal efforts.
  • Design, write, test, deploy and support software code, as assigned. Frequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts.
  • Interact with senior customer personnel on significant technical matters, often requiring coordinated activity across organizational lines.
  • Represent the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical problems associated with specific projects.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be a U.S citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
  • A Bachelor degree in a related technical discipline (e.g., BSEE, BSCS) or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience are required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Secret clearance preferred.
