At the direction of the CRSP Supervisor, this individual shall coordinate movement control support for the surface movement of cargo through the Military transportation system. Assist ASG-QA and tenant units with all aspects of shipping, receiving and movement of equipment and supplies




Individual assists with all freight movement activities pertaining to the CRSP and its functions as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Performs other duties and assignments as required. The following is a list of the major responsibilities of the job and an estimate of the percentage of time spent on each responsibility:


1. Conduct surface freight movement in the CRSP warehouse in support of shipping, receiving, storing, dispatching and delivery of equipment and supplies while ensuring efficient warehouse operations and material transportation. Individual must liaise with Qatari Customs in order to obtain clearance documentation for the importation/exportation of cargo. (40%)


2. Prepare and maintain forms and documents to include, but not limited to, Cargo Manifests, Customs clearance paperwork, Transportation Movement Requests and Transportation Control & Movement Document to ensure accurate records of activities. (25%)


3. Maintain effective communication with customers related to deliveries, irregularities in shipments, shipment delays and other related matters. (15%)


4. Operate appropriate USG portals to ensure automation of information management and the total asset visibility of palletized and containerized cargo. (10%)


5. Assist in palletizing materials and movement of those pallets in preparation for shipment. (5%)


6. Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) consisting of forklifts and other lifting devices as required. (5%)


7. May be required to be housed on the Installation in the event of a crisis.



General Material Handling Equipment (MHE) for shipping & receiving functions, Computer, Cell-Phone.




Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
Work Week: 48 hours (6 days @ 8 hours a day) is the standard work week. This position requires flexibility in work hours


Must be able to lift/push/pull 75 lbs


Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.


High School diploma or equivalent required. Driver's license required and must be able to obtain Qatari driver license.

US Citizen with a Secret Security Clearance is required. Current AMMO 62 or AMMO 37 certification is required.





Must have at least two years of experience in the military transportation field equivalent to an 88N. Must have knowledge

 of DoD HAZMAT forms and regulations. Must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

with the ability to interact with a multi-national staff as well as USG personnel and Qatari Customs officials. Desired

 candidate shall have working knowledge of military traffic management policies and regulations, computer systems

 and software (IBS-CMM, IGC, RF-ITV, JCM)




Fluent in English as exemplified in writing and in verbal skills.

MS Office suite expertise is required as well as excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
