Reporting directly to the President, Crouse-Hinds, B-Line, Oil & Gas, North America and functionally to the Global Vice President, HR for Crouse-Hinds, B-Line, Oil & Gas, the Vice President of Human Resources, North America will lead and manage across 14 plants in North America and partner with global HR leaders in APAC and EMEA.

This role is a key business partner and strategist on the senior executive leadership team for the North America Region. Will work with the President and Leadership Team in continuing to drive the business forward while ensuring a progressive focus on culture and talent development. The selected executive will be a thought leader regarding the business strategy providing key observations, ideas and suggestions, and being an outspoken advocate in identifying both risk and opportunities the organization.

+ Work with the group and division leadership and functional leaders to drive change, aligning human resources programs and initiatives with strategic objectives and annual business goals.

+ Drive unified plans with measurable metrics that support business, financial and employee engagement goals.

+ As strategic business partner, work with the group’s leadership teams to set direction, priorities and culture expectations.

+ Drive HR functional excellence through deployment of programs, ensuring quality of process and content alignment. Ensure that knowledge retention and sharing mechanisms are developed, continuously improved and sustained.

+ Develop, optimize, document and standardize sustainable processes, sharing best practices across the division and larger organization.

+ Manage and develop skills of the HR team to support business initiatives and goals including direct and functional reports. Encourage and drive knowledge retention and best practice sharing across the group, region, organization.

Qualifications

Position Criteria:

+ Demonstrated expertise in building talent, engaging teams, driving culture change and strategic growth.

+ Builder of talent capabilities that meet the future needs of the business.

+ Significant experience hiring, coaching, influencing, and promoting effective leaders and driving the development of capable managers.

+ Direct experience in a manufacturing environment or field- based work organization is required.

+ Direct experience supporting multiple businesses in a global matrix environment.

+ Strong analytical, communication and leadership skills with an ability to develop, maintain and leverage trusting relationships (up and down organizations) both internally and externally. He/she should possess an engaging leadership style with a progressive mindset.

Required Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required. A Master’s degree is strongly preferred, but not required. HR certifications or designations are also a strong plus.

+ Minimum of 10 years of increasing responsibility in progressive HR environment

+ Minimum of 5 years leading experienced HR Leaders

+ Knowledge of relevant local/state/federal/provincial employment laws.

+ Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.
