Northrop Grumman is actively seeking a Project Manager to provide mid-level or senior level program management support to a small cadre of Government weapon system acquisition experts across the full program life cycle from risk reduction to system development & demonstration, production, and sustainment. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing advice and assistance in the areas of requirements analysis, preparation of Capability Development and Capability Production Documents (CDD/CPD), acquisition strategy development and documentation, program technical trade analyses (including technology transition), platform integration support, operation support planning, risk management, budget and Program Objectives Memorandum (POM) support, preparation and presentation of programmatic and technical briefings, conduct technical coordination and program management reviews, what if analyses, preparation of and presentation of general officer level decision/information briefings and staff documentation for Program Executive Officer, service headquarters, and security management. Additional responsibilities may include leading a multi-discipline team in support of multiple programs and projects. Leading and directing one or more project teams in the professional services arena. Preparing project execution plans and monitoring project completion from initiation through delivery to meet mission objectives. Utilize management skills to monitor performance of projects while providing technical and analytical guidance to project teams.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications for Principal Level: 5 Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD or 9 years of experience in lieu if degree. Relevant experience/education in DoD acquisition disciplines including requirements analysis, acquisition strategy development (including mandatory documents (e.g. Justification and Authority, Acquisition Plans, development of detailed contract statements of work objectives, budget and POM development, logistics planning, scheduling, engineering, etc.) is required. 5 of the years must involve experience with military equipment and systems. Candidate must meet clearance and SCI eligibility requirements. Basic Qualifications for Senior Principal Level: 9 Years with Bachelors in Science; 7 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD. 7 of the years must involve experience with military equipment and systems.
