Overview

We are currently looking for a qualified and resourceful HR generalist to support our HR department with administrative and strategic responsibilities, such as recruiting, training and development, compensation and benefits. Our ideal candidate will have experience with HR including recruitment, data entry, onboarding, benefits, and payroll.



Responsibilities

  • Perform full cycle recruiting including sourcing, interviewing, onboarding etc.
  • Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance.
  • Carries out routine administrative work involving the human resources functions and maintains related records.
  • Collects and maintains HR data related to compensation, benefits, training, recruitment, etc. to help make recommendations for improvement.
  • May prepare internal employee communications regarding compensation, benefits, or company policies.
  • If assigned, keeps records of benefits plans participation such as insurance and pension plan, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations and employee statistics for government reporting.
  • Assists in the performance review program to ensure completeness, tracking, effectiveness and compliance within GDOTS.
  • Assists in the administration of the assigned, specialized areas, such as benefits programs, health, dental and disability insurances, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence and employee assistance or salary administration program to ensure compliance and equity within organization.
  • Provides other human resources services as needed.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field from four-year College or university and minimum two years of experience in Human Resources especially in recruiting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Works within the highest level of integrity, ethics and safety.
  • Operates under general direction and exercises guided judgment.
  • Ability to travel, including possible international travel, is required.
