We are seeking a Critical Care Director for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Job Summary:
  • Accountable and responsible for all departmental activities, 24/7, to ensure delivery of quality patient care in a safe and therapeutic environment. 
  • Manages a twelve (12) bed Medical ICU and twelve (12) bed Surgical ICU.
  • Provides effective leadership that supports the mission, vision and strategic plan of the organization and I SERVE…with pleasure values. 
  • Manages department operations to include staff productivity, resource utilization and expense management to achieve maximum financial performance. 
  • Maintains responsibility for workflow of unit by ensuring proper staffing levels. 

Celebrating 25 years of providing quality healthcare to Davidson, Wilson and surrounding counties, TriStar Summit is a 218-bed comprehensive facility offering a full array of acute care services, including cardiology, emergency, oncology, orthopedics/spine, rehabilitation and women’s services. Our 24/7 Level III Trauma ER is an Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI and a Primary Stroke Center, which makes TriStar Summit a leading provider of emergency heart and stroke care.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing; Current TN RN licensure.
  • American Heart Association or Red Cross BLS within first 6 months of hire.
  • ACLS, PALS, NRP, AWHONN, and STABLE required according to department staff requirements.
  • Previous clinical experience in area of responsibility.
  • BSN required, MSN preferred.
