Position Description: 

The Dialysis (Registered Nurse RN) coordinates the assignment of patient flow to the nursing units.  Maintains responsibility of patient flow and coordination.  Maintains close collaboration with the bed flow coordinator and nursing supervisor.  Assists with bridging patient care when needed such as TAVR patients.  May assist with patient procedures, such as cardioversions, in emergent situations.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:


Education:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing or actively pursuing with completion within 3 years of hire required.


Experience:

Minimum of two (2) years clinical and IV placement experience required.  Emergency room or critical care experience preferred.


Certifications/Licensure:

Current RN license for the state of UT or RN compact license from participating compact states.  American Red Cross or American Heart Association BLS or BCLS required and certification completion of St Mark's Vascular Access Program.
