In the role of an electrician, the candidate will perform preventative and maintenance work orders, troubleshoot and repair various mill equipment, repair and modify electrical controls including electronic drive units, PLCs, and HMIs. Additionally, you will provide electrical support to the Mechanical and Production Teams and assist with various projects.

You must also show you can work in a team environment and have excellent communication and organizational skills.

The company is looking for someone with an understanding of electrical theory and practice, automation control, and experience or the ability to learn to perform routine and corrective maintenance on:

- AC motors and drives

- DC motors and drives

- Power distribution, control systems and PLCs (will teach PLCs)

- Overhead cranes

The want you to have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent computer skills, mechanical aptitude; any hydraulic and pneumatic system knowledge is a bonus.

This is a rotating shift position that works the Dupont Shift, 12 hour rotating shift schedule that gives you a full 7 days off every 4 weeks.

Base pay will be about $25k but you will receive bonuses that are based on production and team performance. Great benefits package.
