What you will do

Under specific direction,performs preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning andgeneral servicing of Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems (including troubleshooting of systems).Works with assigned customer accounts to achieve high levels of customersatisfaction through direct, on site, customer interface. Properly completesrequired project and service documentation. Customer satisfaction is yourhighest priority.

How you will do it

1. Works with customers ondiagnostics and repair of complex system malfunctions requiring extensiveknowledge of a variety of electronic or digital controls systems. Tests systemsoftware in multiple programming languages.
2. Communicates with customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site.Assists the customer to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Meetsregularly with the customer to become familiar with operating problems. Keepscustomer informed on the nature of service provided and outstanding issues.Promotes the sale of add-on work.
3. Adheres to all Johnson Controls and customer safety standards.
4. Compiles assigned job documentation, such as preventative maintenancedocumentation, service tickets and punch lists.
6. Participates in training classes as assigned and conducts extensiveself-study (reading, research and practice) to develop technical proficiency incompany's product lines. Completes certifications and develops technicalproficiencies as required by the company.

Other duties related to assisting in commissioning and servicing of buildingcontrols and facilities management systems as assigned.

What we look for

Vocational School orAssociate degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, orsimilar field or 10 years’ experience in DDC control systems in the HVACindustry. Generally preferred knowledge includes IT and Network understanding,HVAC controls systems, facilities management systems, site preparation,peripheral equipment installation and servicing techniques. Effectiveinterpersonal skills to properly represent Johnson Controls to customers andother outside contacts, with a professional appearance and attitude. PCexperience required and the ability to program software highly desired.
