Eaton's Puerto Rico Early Talent programs provides our
businesses with new university graduates, or current university students, to
fill critical business needs through our structured programs. Participants in our Early Talent Programs
works to solve real-world problems while developing the skills required to
manage at the next level. Early Talent assignments hold true significance to
our businesses. In turn, participants gain enriching and diverse experiences
and work side by side with experienced leaders to power their careers.
The Eaton Leadership Development Program “Operation Engineering” focus its
efforts to maximize the selected student development. Each assignment has the
potential to have the student placed in different facilities, businesses,
and/or functions during the length of the program (2 – 3 years). The
assignments will provide multiple opportunities to enhance the student’s
leadership skills. The selected student will also have the opportunity to
interact with Eaton’s leaders during the assignments.
After completion of the program, the experience and
acquired skills could qualify the selected student for regular employee roles
such as “Lean Engineer, OPEX Engineer,
PLS Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Manufacturing Supervisor and Manufacturing
Engineer”.
Qualifications
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s
or master’s degree in engineering sciences: industrial, mechanical and/or
electrical from an accredited institution required by June of the current year,
with a GPA minimum of 3.0 or higher
+ Flexibility
to relocate in Puerto Rico and USA
+ Leadership
aptitude (ability to lead others within campus and/or community) and a desire
to build a career in manufacturing operations with exposure to supervision
skills development
+ Strong
communication skills (oral/written) in both Spanish and English
+ Relevant
internship or co-op experience in progress to be completed by June of current
year
+ Legally
authorized to work in the United States/ Puerto Rico without company
sponsorship
Position Success Criteria:
Transportation to and from the worksite and for incidental
business travel is the responsibility of the participant; however, expenses for
required and approved business travel (not including the worksite) will be
reimbursed.
This role may include travel (up to10%).
