The Supervisor,Revenue Cycle directly supervises staffresponsible for the timely follow up of third party payer claims and for thetimely and accurate review of third party underpayments and denials using theEpic Billing module. This position will be supportingbehavioral health for facility and physician billing.

  • Directly supervise staff
  • Review daily AR work ques to ensure departmentaland payer specific targets are reached.

  • Monitor quality performance for individual teammembers in accordance with Main Line operating guidelines.

  • Monitor compliance with MLH and third-partybilling and collection requirements and take appropriate corrective action inthe event of process deviations.

  • Coordinate insurance follow-upoperations

  • Monitor AR follow up and denials work quesproductivity to ensure departmental targets are maintained and preferably,exceeded.

  • Ensure accurate and timely follow up of unpaid,under-paid and denied third-party debit receivables.

  • Establish follow up work que monitoring controlsto assess accurate and timely follow up and prevention of third-party denials.

  • Keep abreast of contract terms, regulations andreceivable changes.

Education & Experience(Required):

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Microsoft Office applicationsexperience. Intermediate Excel proficiency

  • Strong analytical, mathematical andorganizational skills

  • Bachelor’sDegree in Business or Accounting is desirable

  • 4+years of healthcare billing experience and/or accounts receivable experienceutilizing automated patient accounting systems (Epic Resolute desirable)preferred

  • Priorsupervisory experience is highly preferred

  • Previousexperience with behavioral health facility and physician billing is highly preferred.

  • Knowledge of insurance contracts,billing regulations and medical terminology

  • Knowledge of HCPCS/CPT/ICD-10 andrevenue codes

  • Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist(CRCS)

  • American Association of HealthcareAdministrative Management (AAHAM)

  • Certified Revenue CycleRepresentative (CRCR)

  • Healthcare Financial ManagementAssociation
