We have a new positionfor a Nurse Practitioner at our Lankenau Heart Group based atLankenau Medical Center.


This position will split time in the Physician Practice, Inpatientrounding and Operating Room.

Responsibilities toinclude:

The role of the CRNP iscentral to the unit based multidisciplinary team in leading quality andevidence based care initiatives that will result in achieving optimal patientoutcomes and improved patient satisfaction. The CRNP extends and expands therole of the physicians, enhances continuity of quality patient care andamplifies communication among all professional care givers, the patient andhis/her family members.

Responsibilities toinclude:

  • Provides clinical support as an extension of the patient care team

  • Anticoagulation management

  • Phone triaging patients

  • Answering medical questions

  • Handling all clinically urgent patient and physician requests.

  • Serves as a clinical resource to Access Center staff

Education/Licenses/Certifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

  • Licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nurse Examiners as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP)

  • Participation in continuing education

  • BLS certification

  • ACLS certification

  • Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner in the State of Pennsylvania

  • Successful completion of the MLH credentialing process through the Medical Staff office, with temporary or permanent privileges approved

Experience:

  • 2 years Nurse Practitioner experience preferred

  • A minimum of two years nursing experience in specific clinical area

  • Must have strong written and verbal skills of the English language
