Overview

Hauls and delivers materials to and from specified vendors and job sites including loading and unloading in designated areas.

Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently hauls and delivers materials to and from vendors and job sites.
  • Conducts pre and post trip vehicle inspections and make sure equipment is safe and in good working order.
  • Ensures that safety, compliance and environmental requirements are followed at all times.
  • Communicates with load and unload areas, hauls materials safely to designated areas and maintains safe speed and observes all haulage.
  • Performs walk-around pre-trip safety inspections. Identifies safety problems or concerns and reports any unsafe conditions to Supervisor including near misses and areas where safety can be improved.

Qualifications

 

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Semi Truck Driving Experience preferred.
  • CDL Class A required.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to deal professionally with product suppliers, plant employees, dispatchers, mechanics and other drivers.
