Opportunity for a Senior Finance Leader (m/f/d) to join Honeywell Safety and Productivity solutions during this exciting time of expansion for our business. Join a team of supply chain finance professionals to support finance decisions within Honeywell Intelligrated. You will play a part to support financial landscape, speed, quality and cost efficiency through budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and reporting. You will play a key role in managing financial performance of the Transnorm, Germany Intelligrated site by implementing finance strategies to achieve committed business performance. You will support Honeywell business leaders to drive finance initiatives and decisions.

Main responsibilities:

• Partner with Operations Manager to improve labor efficiencies and material flow
• Analyze direct material variances at segment level
• Drive freight spend reduction
• Ensure timely and accurately invoice booking. Make sure Vendors are created and POs issued.
• Make sure Vendors created match Vendor invoicing (VAT registration, Bank accounts)
• Update vendor preapproved list
• Optimize off cycle payments: reduce to minimum payments without vendors or without POs
• Understand correctly cost structure of indirect expenses and validate cost/account allocation. Establish tracking for Direct debit payments
• Clean block invoices for posting on regular basis.
• Manage relations with Tax authorities on regular basis (communication, advance payments, tax audits, local taxes)
• Establish processes for cycle count, monitor inventory variances
• Review annual stock take process
• Review existing accruals and establish standard process for warranty accruals and credit memo reserves. Manage vacation and over time accruals
• Work closely with Site team to optimize IOS
• Manage annual tax declarations and other Local GAAP reporting requirements
• Provide support on internal and external audits
• Participate in annual standard cost update cycle
• Respond to Ad hoc requests for analysis, off cycle payments, payroll reconciliation

We are looking for:

• Fluency in both German and English.
• Relevant experience in Integrated Supply Chain finance / Cost Accounting
• Bachelor's degree (university degree) in accounting, finance.
• Proven track record in accounting or finance field.
• Master’s degree in Finance or CPA would be an advantage.
• Ability to present complex analysis with clarity.
• Ability to understand accounting and financial processes related to the business.
• Knowledge of US GAAP Sarbanes-Oxley and Internal controls would be an advantage.
• Good oral and written communication.
