Northrop Grumman is seeking for a Sr.Principal/ Staff Automation Test Engineer for planning, developing strategies to build and execute automated test frameworks for continuous acceptance, regression, integration, and system testing across broad network of subsystems and/or systems. The Principal Automation Test Engineer will function as a part of an agile development team to develop a prototype and operational hybrid system.

Qualifications:

This position may be filled at either the Sr. Principal level or Staff level.

Basic Qualifications Sr. Principal Automation Test Engineer:

The Sr. Principal Automation Test Engineer shall have at least the following:

• At least ten (10) years' experience with planning, implementing, testing, documenting, and maintaining solutions for the integration and testing of custom developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/ or systems.
• Experience applying foundational concepts of testing, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and testing practices throughout SDLC
• Shall be able to synthesize customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints;
• Shall be able to establish functional and technical specifications and standards, solve hardware/software interface problems, define input/output parameters, and ensure integration of the entire system or subsystem;
• Shall be able to review, evaluate, and decompose requirements into functional test components, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete testing of systems and/or subsystems;
• Shall be able to coordinate system and/or subsystem testing activities with interfacing programs and organizations, while analyzing automation and/ or performance test requirements and develop corresponding automation test plans and suites;
• Shall be able to perform analysis of test results, and prepare comprehensive system and/or subsystem level evaluation reports. which identify verification and validation of system and/or subsystem tested;
• Shall be able to write discrepancy reports, and perform regression and integration testing to verify and validate associated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems.
• Shall have experience with test automation tools e.g. IBM Rational Robot, Mercury Interactive LoadRunner or other load testing tools, QuickTest or Selenium.

Preferred Qualifications:
• A Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field
• Confluence and Jira;
• Postman;
• Git
• Jenkins/CI/CDMaven
• Experience with Java
• Experience writing and maintaining Linux shell scripts
• Experience with RESTful services or other web APIs such as Swagger
• Knowledge of the Customer system certification (i.e., ATO) process
• System architecture/design experience
• Knowledge of Compliance process
• Knowledge of Dataflow Management (DMR) process
• Strong Agile/Scrum knowledge, particularly in the areas of ScrumMaster and Product Owner
• PMP training/or certification
• NiFi

Basic Qualifications Staff Automation Test Engineer:

The Staff Automation Test Engineer shall have at least the following:
• At least fourteen (14) years' experience with planning, implementing, testing, documenting, and maintaining solutions for the integration and testing of custom developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/ or systems.
• Experience applying foundational concepts of testing, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and testing practices throughout SDLC
• Shall be able to synthesize customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints;
• Shall be able to establish functional and technical specifications and standards, solve hardware/software interface problems, define input/output parameters, and ensure integration of the entire system or subsystem;
