ManTech’s Intelligence Sector is seeking an Executive Director, Strategic Solutions, to work in the Growth organization in Herndon, VA. This position will develop strategic partnerships with commercial cloud and software providers to deliver innovative solutions to the Intelligence Community (IC). This is a highly visible position and will work with multiple senior leaders across the Intelligence Sector to develop strategy and drive business growth across multiple technical focus areas. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of market trends and technical direction of IC customers and be able to translate customer intelligence into compelling capture strategies and solutions.

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

  • Provides support in all aspects of business development and capture management including but not limited to the identification, qualification, positioning, and capture of new business in support of current and planned capabilities.

  • Develops major Cloud-based services pursuits as assigned, driving overall efforts, developing solution concepts, and managing all aspects of the capture effort.

  • Create and execute strategies that lead to new business and have a demonstrated track record of success leading capture teams

  • Implements customer contact plans across all levels of customers identifying issues, concerns and through direct customer contact and account or program management resources.

  • Leads Capture Business Decision Gate reviews, ensures effective and efficient implementation of proven best practices, and conducts strategy reviews, win strategy, competitive assessment, and pricing strategy development.

  • Prepares strategic action plans, ROI analysis, risk assessments.

  • Leverages division knowledge management resources to ensure a winning technical, management price, and past performance approaches are developed by the capture team.

  • Conducts thorough draft and final RFP analyses and develops responses to customer.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience working with multiple government agencies including agencies of the Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense, is desired

  • BA/BS degree desired

  • 5 years of Sales, Business Development or Capture Manager experience desired.

  • Beneficial experience for this position would be expertise across various Cloud and Analytic solution providers, for example Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and RedHat.

  • Knowledge and experience with marketing capabilities in the areas of Enterprise and Mission IT; Cyber Operations; ITSM and Managed Services; Data Center, Cloud and Cloud Migration; Data Transport and Systems Integration; Application Development and Modernization; Big Data and Data Analytics

  • Proven leadership and marketing savvy plus strong organization management skills

  • Demonstrated ability to lead/execute disciplined capture efforts for large and complex captures

  • Demonstrated ability to drive/follow the Capture Process from opportunity positioning and qualification through proposal development and opportunity closing

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to create and execute strategies that lead to the successful pursuit, capture and execution of new programs.

  • Demonstrated ability to interact at senior levels of business and the government

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate a matrixed team that includes business development, contract, proposals, pricing and technical leads.

  • Multi-discipline performance record in business development, capture, and execution is desired.
