In order to reinforce the global IT team we are currently recruiting for a

Senior Director Global IT Ops, Services & Defence

As the Senior Director Global IT Ops, Services & Defence, you will be responsible for leading IT operations, services and Defence technology across all regions. You will set the strategy for infrastructure, user experience and technical operations. You will partner with all IT groups, LOBs and functional groups to ensure that the IT Services are provided and communicated effectively. The Defence LOB is planned to grow significantly so you will be the primary IT leader aligned to that LOB.

Main responsibilities:

  • Develop technology strategy, roadmap, and implement new solutions globally across all regions
  • Set strategy for and implement technology solutions for Defence contracts (software, hardware, security, and infrastructure solutions).
  • Work closely with the IT Solutions team to develop innovative solutions for and to create technology roadmaps for LOBs and Functional groups
  • Lead the global IT Services group
  • Lead the global IT Operations group
  • Lead the Defence contract technology team, ensure staff have proper clearances, and work with internal and external contract leaders
  • Manage global IT Ops/Services budget
  • Apply business strategy while driving technology strategy, balancing short term and long term needs to ensure that the solutions can scale and evolve accordingly
  • Ensure team adheres to IT standards, IT processes, IT controls, and IT security
  • Set KPIs and internal SLAs, and manage by metrics to provide quality and consistent service
  • Take an active role in the performance management process by completing goal setting, mentoring, year-end review, and providing ongoing expectations and feedback
  • Work closely with IT Compliance & Security to ensure compliance requirements are met
  • Represent Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies and the General Dynamics network

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in IT, or similar degree, or similar experience
  • 7+ years' experience in relevant IT field
  • Strong technical knowledge across all IT operational domains
  • Experience with ITIL and Project Management
  • Excellent interpersonal andEnglish oral and written communication skills
