Position Title: Clinical Assistant Professor, Surgery, Division of Breast Surgical Oncology Posting Number: F2000053 Employer: State FTE: Varies Position Summary: The Department of Surgery is composed of dynamic clinical and basic science faculty with diverse experience and clinical skills that help cultivate today's residents into future surgery leaders. We pride ourselves on ensuring excellence in the department's three mission areas: patient care, research, and education. Our faculty utilizes state-of-the-art laboratories to pioneer approaches and to conduct innovative research; which is then translated into clinical practice. The Department of Surgery is dedicated to providing high quality surgical education through comprehensive clinical exposure, research at the forefront of medicine, and mentoring by physicians and scientists devoted to their craft. The incumbent will join a growing academic breast surgical oncology practice. Academic breast surgical oncologists with interest in both benign and malignant breast disease are encouraged to apply. There will be expectations of a commitment to clinical and academic productivity, teaching medical students and residents, program development and research activity.
