  • Provides technical, managerial, and administrative direction for problem definition, analysis, requirements development, and implementation for logistics and related information systems.
  • Makes recommendations and advises on organization-wide system improvements, optimization or maintenance efforts for logistics and related information systems, and for modeling and simulation.
  • Applies an enterprise-wide set of disciplines and processes for the planning, analysis, design, construction, and implementation of information engineering for logistics systems.
  • Develops analytical and computational techniques and methodologies for problem solutions.
  • Performs enterprise-wide strategic systems planning, business information planning and analysis.
  • Performs process and data modeling in support of the planning and analysis efforts using both manual and automated tools.
  • Applies reverse engineering and reengineering disciplines to develop migration strategic and planning documents.
  • Provides technical guidance in software engineering techniques and automated support tools.
  • Performs information systems development, functional and data requirements analysis, systems analysis and design, programming, program design, and documentation preparation.
  • Implements information engineering projects; and performs systems analysis; design and programming using CASE and IE tools and methods, systems planning, business information planning, and business analysis.
  • Makes recommendations and advises on system improvements, optimization or maintenance efforts for logistics and related information systems in the following specialties: information systems architecture; networking; telecommunications; automation; communications protocols; risk management/electronic analysis; software; life-cycle management; software development methodologies; and modeling and simulation.


  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent
  • 10 to 12 years related experience.
