Field Service Team Leader - Melbourne, Australia

This role will be based in our Melbourne offices with travel throughout Australia on a regular basis and some travel to New Zealand for ongoing training. The Position:

This role will have hands on / day to day people management responsibility for a team of mechanically and technically focussed field services engineers dotted around Australia. We have a concentration of resources based predominately in VIC, SA and QLD. This role will report to the ANZ Field Service Manager based in New Zealand but will get huge access and exposure to our Global Field Services Director who is also based in Melbourne, Australia. Some of the key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Providing excellent support and acting as a point of escalation for our Australian based customers
  • Ensure that the service that we are providing is best in class and exceeding customer expectations
  • Ensure that our employees always work safely and professionally onsite at customers locations
  • Being responsible for the mentoring and management of our Field Service Engineers with support and direction from our Field Services Manager
  • When needed, provide onsite technical support to our customers, utilising your many years of skills and experience to resolve complex issues and provide hands on training to our field services engineers as required

Our ideal candidate is someone who has strong technical abilities coupled with a successful track record of leading a team to deliver top quality results for our respected customer base. In this role you'll need to be a multitasker, someone who is structured and well organised, calm under pressure and can relate to all levels of internal and external customers.
