Overall responsible for the cost, schedule, and performance of all training programs/contracts within the Navy division of ManTech’s DoD Business Unit. Tasks include ensure all facets of training program execution meet or exceed contract requirements and customer expectations. Directly manages Program Managers, Project Managers, technical, and administrative support personnel in the execution of Maritime Training Programs, Projects, and Services.

Provides Capture and Sales Engineering Support to the capture and sales organizations inside ManTech and for partners as required to pursue and win business in the Maritime Training technical services market for US Government and International Partner Nation opportunities. Oversees the identification, qualification, and capture of organic growth opportunities within existing customer audiences where practical. Supports the business acquisition process for new business to include business development, capture, solution-ing, bid and proposal, and transition activities as a Training Services subject matter expert and business line manager.

Provides internal and external industry, Academia, and Government engagement as a Maritime Training Technical Services subject matter expert. Drives internal alignment with other ManTech training delivery teams and associated capabilities. Perform as ManTech’s expert representative in industry events and communities of practice such as I/ITSEC, AFCEA, NDIA, and NTSA to name a few.

Successful candidate has the following:

  • Minimum of 10 Years’ experience in managing and executing Maritime Training Programs
  • Minimum of 5 Years’ experience leading Navy training program management and execution in the Defense Contracting market
  • Bachelors Degree in technical or related field
  • US Navy Master Training Specialist or related vocational training certification
  • Proficient in US Navy enterprise training systems like AIM CPM/LO Module, NeL, eNTRS, CANTRAC, etc.
  • High level of awareness in the US Navy SAILOR 2025 and RRL initiatives
