ManTech is currently seeking experienced professionals for the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center at Hill Air Force Base-Ogden, Utah.  This will be supporting the Integration Support Contract (ISC) 2.0.  Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) weapon systems.

Your Opportunity:

Junior Software Tester

Responsibilities

• Create and design processes or experiments to test quality of products
• Work with software engineers to ensure quality is built into digital solutions  
• Provide input on whether products are ready to launch 
• Maintain responsibility for defining, documenting, analyzing, performing, and interpreting developmental tests for new & modified products or product components
• Recommend changes in procedures
• Operate with substantial latitude for un-reviewed actions or decisions
• Review progress with mgmt

Qualifications:

  • BA or BS degree in STEM-related field + 5-9 years' experience;
  • 9 years' experience equivalent to any combination of education/experience
  • Bachelor's Degree 
  • 1+ yrs experience testing or developing software applications
  • 1+ yrs experience with technologies
  • Experience with testing analytical functions in Cloud-based architectures
  • Experience with Web Service or automated testing a plus
  • Experience with test methodologies, QA process, software release cycle, test effort estimation, and tracking
  • Knowledge of Agile development
  • Knowledge of government practices
  • Knowledge of operating systems and networking, release procedures, and software defect tracking
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. DOD Security Clearance up to the Top Secret level if required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active DOD Secret or (STRONGLY preferred) Active DOD Top Secret Clearance
