Job Description:

To have sound knowledge and proficiency in the treatment of respiratory disorders for inpatients and outpatients with various types of media, i.e., oxygen and other therapeutic gases and respiratory equipment. Establishes a good rapport with fellow associates while maintaining a professional relationship. Treats all patients and their families with compassion and respect. Reports to the Respiratory Care Supervisor and Cardiopulmonary Director.


Some notable information about the Unit:

  • Specialties: Level 2 NICU, Pediatric ICU, Pediatric Oncology, Pediatric ER.
  • Shifts: 3-12 Hour Shifts 7- 7:30 a.m./p.m. and every other weekend per schedule
  • Upcoming: Increase ER beds by 12, NICU and PICU transport teams, Level 3 NICU. Just west of hospital, 5K+ homes to be built in near future

Qualifications

  • Florida License/ RRT Required
  • Must have minimum 3 Years of PICU/NICU experience.
  • Basic Life Support(BLS) Required
  • ACLS, PALS and/or NRP must be obtained within 3 months of hire
