Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develops, organizes, and conducts technical training and educational programs.
  • Perform expert-level development and delivery of training programs and related materials in support of customer training objectives.
  • Establish and review course content and objectives.
  • Ability to embrace information technology concepts becoming a recognized subject matter expert in the field in which he/she is training.
  • Conduct training sessions and develops criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities.
  • Maintain records of training activities, participant progress, and program effectiveness.
  • Develop and subsequently update course documentation on a regular basis to ensure timeliness and relevance.
  • Provide work leadership to lower level employees, including evaluating the effectiveness of their training presentations and programs, and may have supervisory responsibilities.
  • May serve as technical training task lead.
  • Conduct research into new training, educational, and multimedia technologies.
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
  • Participate in special projects as required.
  • Conduct the research necessary to develop and revise training courses.
  • Develop and revise courses and prepare appropriate training catalogs.
  • Prepare instructor materials (course outline, background material, and training aids).
  • Prepare student materials (course manuals, workbooks, handouts, completion certificates, and course critique forms).
  • Train personnel by conducting formal classroom courses, workshops and seminars.
  • Prepare reports and monitor training tasks in support of the goals of the Contractor Program Manager and the government sponsor(s) using standard training standards and software and hardware programs such as modeling and simulation and prototyping efforts.
  • Provide input to the Project Lead and the Contractor Program Manager on which decisions for training validation and or modifications of specified items or systems can be corrected.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of experience in Information Technology. Degree may be substituted with 5 years of IT Experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Requires skill with MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and Power Point. One or more eLearning authoring tool (Adobe Captivate, Articulate 360, Lectora, etc.). SharePoint. Proficient in the application of web-based training standards (SCORM, Section 508, xAPI, etc.)
  • Travel to customer sites required.
  • Exhibits strong organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adhere to security policies and procedures related to systems, equipment, facilities, and infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making.
  • Experience in Customer Service

Other Requirements:

  • Must have active interim Secret clearance or above
  • Must be able to travel at least 25%
