Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Review and evaluate training programs to ensure the training needs are being fulfilled.
  • Analyze existing training program delivery, content, and aids to measure effectiveness and recommend program changes.
  • Develop and recommend methods and materials for training staff and may propose new curriculum, ideas for group discussions, demonstrations, and workshops.
  • Incorporate new training methods that may enhance training programs.
  • Conduct analysis of instructor performance to drive improvements.
  • Conduct course surveys.
  • Coordinates with application developers to develop and update training courses.
  • Conducts training programs on topics and designs and helps to develop training program elements/modules.
  • Collaborate with internal and external Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and curriculum development team members to create and revise curriculum for instructor-led delivery.
  • Lead and/or participate in work sessions with SMEs and members of the curriculum development team.
  • Conduct independent research to ensure the accuracy, relevance and currency of instructional content.
  • Recommend alternative instructional strategies to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the training program.
  • Capture and document course level data for the logistics of training delivery to meet requirements (e.g., number of instructors, class scheduling, classroom needs).
  • Propose instructional strategies and media to be used in course development.
  • Create and maintain source content for course development.
  • Review course as it is developed to ensure its alignment and integrity with the instructional plan and documented standards of quality.
  • Assist in implementation of actions necessary to ensure effective integration of training requirements, resources, and delivery plans.
  • Understanding of Instructional Systems Design.
  • Familiar with broad spectrum of instructional solutions available to achieve learning outcomes.
  • Conduct the research necessary to develop and revise training courses.
  • Develop and revise courses and prepare appropriate training catalogs.
  • Prepare student materials (course manuals, workbooks, handouts, completion certificates, and course critique forms).
  • Train personnel by conducting formal classroom courses, workshops and seminars.
  • Prepare reports and monitor training tasks in support of the goals of the Contractor Program Manager and the government sponsor(s) using standard training standards and software and hardware programs such as modeling and simulation and prototyping efforts.
  • Provide input to the Project Lead and the Contractor Program Manager on which decisions for training validation and or modifications of specified items or systems can be corrected.

Job Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making.
  • Experience in Customer Service

Other Requirements:

  • Must have active interim Secret clearance or above
  • Must be able to travel at least 25%

  • Must be able to type
