Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Principal Information System Security Officer to join our team in Oxnard, CA area to provide unparalleled support to our customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech.  The selected individual will be embedded in the customer environment and will be supporting secure systems for a dynamic customer mission.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support an information assurance program by proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies
  • Maintain operational security posture for an information system to ensure information systems security policies, standards, and procedures are established and followed
  • Manage security aspects of the information system and perform day-to-day security operations of the system
  • Evaluate security solutions and ensure they meet security requirements for processing classified information, and perform vulnerability/risk assessment analysis to support Assessment and Authorization
  • Provide configuration management (CM) for information system security software, hardware, and firmware and manage changes to system and assess the security impact of those changes
  • Prepare and review documentation to include Systems Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessment Reports, Certification and Accreditation (C&A) packages, and Security Control Traceability Matrices (SCTM)
  • Run vulnerability and security compliance scans
  • Creating, maintaining, and coordinating closure of system POA&Ms
  • Support security authorization activities in compliance with NIST Risk Management Framework steps

 Position requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics or Math) or equivalent job experience, and 7-9 years of related experience
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification
  • IT certifications a plus
  • Knowledge of latest Microsoft technology
  • Knowledge of latest VMware technology a plus
  • Knowledge of SAN technology a plus
  • Knowledge of Cisco technology a plus
  • Risk Management Framework experience a plus
  • Valid US Driver’s License
  • Up to 5% travel
