Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Personnel Security Officer to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD .
Responsibilities
Assisting with day-to-day management of security the program
Providing Operation Security support and implementing security requirements
Interfacing with Program Mgmt., Recruiters, CSSO’s and program employees, subcontractors and new hire employees in relationship to servicing and maintaining clearances
Interfacing with government contacts with regards to personnel security duties, to include polygraph appointments, subject interviews and indoctrinations
Clearance processing for multiple government & contractor sites
Verify/confirm clearance/accesses of new hires and current ManTech employees
Manage/Maintain program eCPRL
Submit visit requests for Conus/Oconus sites
Process new-hire forms/packages for completeness and accuracy before sending to the customer for clearance approvals
Makes impartial judgments on the recommended processing times while reviewing confidential candidate material
Maintain records in SIMS or other security database and keep up-to-date with accurate information
Providing Courier/Escort knowledge
Maintain the visitor control system
Alarm Response
Schedule Flexibility
Maintain security paperwork for all contracts to include but not limited to DD254s and eCPRL’s
Annual security audits for Industrial Security and other audits/inspections as needed
Security Clearance Requirement: Active TS/SCI will Polygraph
Position Requirements/Skills
- Active TS/SCI will Polygraph
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Requires 3-5+ years of personnel security experience with Fort Meade customer
- CSSO Certificate & Course completed within the past five years
- Must have working knowledge of the NISPOM and ICD/DCID’s
- Ability to handle stress and work well under pressure
- Interpersonal and People Skills
- Organizational Skills
- Multi-Tasking Ability
- Analytical and Critical Thinking Skills
- Oral and Written Communication Skills
- Ability to use PC and use MS Office Suite
- DMDC - JPAS/DISS knowledge preferred
- COMSEC knowledge preferred
- Document Control knowledge preferred
- Knowledge of Physical Security (IDS, Alarms, Badge Systems)
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
- The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
