Unique Skills:

Java and/or .NET programming experience a plus.

This is for a Fall Intern Position. The selected student for this position must be available to work at least 24 hours per week August through December.
• This position will be posted until 6/14/19.
• Resumes will be reviewed in June.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

The intern position is to assist the PLM Implementation software developers in the creation and support of Gulfstream Engineering applications.

1.Review and respond to help desk and support tickets.
2.Assist with troubleshooting of application platform issues, including software and hardware.
3.Assist senior technical staff with patches and upgrades.
4.Software development under the supervision of senior staff members.
5.Provide guidance and recommendations on new tools or technologies.

Education and Experience Requirements:

1.Currently pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in computer science or a closely related field.

    1. Applicants must graduate from their current academic program after December 2019 or have a plan to continue their education in the Spring (ie. bachelors to masters).
    2. August 2019 graduates will not be considered and should apply to full-time positions.


2.Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher at the time of application and it must be listed on the submitted resume.
3.Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4.Demonstrated interpersonal skills (e.g. listening, tact/diplomacy)
5.Must be able to work 24hours per week August-December.
6.Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
7.Housing will be offered. Intern must work at least 32 hours per week to be eligible for housing.
