Summary / Description

We are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Systems Integration Manager to join our team in Reston, VA to begin an exciting and challenging career with Unisys Federal Systems.

 

In this role you will shall be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all technical integration of the IT equipment. The Systems Integration Manager shall work closely with the Project Manager to define, document, and adhere to proposed solutions and delivery schedules.

Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities

Coordination with stakeholders for baseline images, system configuration, procedures and other system requirements

Managing and providing technical and operational direction and quality assurance for every aspect of the provisioning workflow process for desktops, laptops, telecommunication equipment (e.g., routers, switches), MDFs/printers, servers and other IT equipment

Participating in meeting with USCB stakeholders for defining equipment requirements, troubleshooting issues, and other meetings as needed for supporting the IT equipment

Participating in system integration and acceptance testing of the IT solution for the different sites

Reviewing integration plans, integration reports and test procedures

Providing all technical documentation for configuring and supporting the IT equipment on site, troubleshooting procedures and processes and end-user how-to guides

Managing configuration management for baseline images, technical configurations and procedures, and all other documentation for supporting and using the IT equipment

Making IT equipment recommendations based on IT equipment specifications

Managing maintenance and decommissioning services all IT equipment

Lead lessons learned throughout the contract and offer thought leadership and best practices recommendations

 

Requirements

Position Requirements:

U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED

The Systems Integration Manager shall possess, at a minimum, the following:

Experience reviewing integration plans, integration reports and test procedures

Background in and working knowledge of operating systems supporting the IT equipment

Background in and working knowledge configuration telecommunication equipment (e.g., routers, switches)

Experience integrating all IT equipment and components for a Paper Data Capture Solution

Ability to translate business requirements into detail specifications

Proficient professional verbal and written communication skills

Ability to effectively lead lessons learned throughout for each task of the contract and offer thought leadership and best practices recommendations

Master's degree and 15 years experience or equivalent
