Mid-Level Software Developer - Military Veterans

We are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Mid-Level Software Developer to join our team in Alexandria, VA to begin an exciting and challenging career with Unisys Federal Systems.
 
In this Role the candidate will provide technical, development assistance to the Team Leads and Senior Developers, on the overall design, development, and solution of Next Generation Java J2EE based  applications, will engage in full stack Java J2EE application development and will work on all or any Java Technologies from UI to back end. Will work with the team, senior and technical leadership in developing required modules to support "EST Exploring Search Technolgies Phase 5" initative. Will have experience developing Java Code and experience using J2EE Framework, Indepth knowledge of system performance Metrics, Enterprise RHEL, VMware servers, hosting application on Jboss/Tomcat servers, strong implementational knowledge of CMS/Search based solutions using Solr Cloud 4+, ZooKeeper, JAVA JDK1.8, JUnit, RESTful Webservices, RESTEasy, JAX-RS, Ajax, Design patters including but limiting to MVC, Spring, Hibernate, SQL, MYSQL, XML, XSLT, Scala, Spark, Cassandra 2.0, Cassandra Query Language (CQL), JQuery, JSON, Profiecency using Apache Jmeter,Selenium, AppDynamics, Splunk, SOL4j, SiteScope, Subversion & Sonar Limiting to the mentioned,  integrating j2ee developed interaces with existing NG or Legacy applicatons. Experience using Rally, Knowledge of RBAC. Knowledge and experience with Agile development.

Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities:
Perform overall Life cycle development, system design, Technology and solutions implementation, programming, solutioning, implementation, post production support, system engineering, experience Java J2EE Technologies. Develop Java Webservices/interfaces for Next Generation Java J2EE patent application, and develop solutions that allow to improve the over all performance of EST application.Experience with CA Agile Central/Rally, Remedy and RBAC. 5+ years of combined experience as a developer or technical lead in J2EE-related Web application development projects

• Requires a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Specific technical skill requirements include proficiency in demonstrating/performing one or more skills in each technical skill group.
• Knowledge and experience with software and system engineering lifecycle and tools including requirements development, requirements management, and software sustainment.
• Knowledge of system and software architecture frameworks.
