Summary / Description

We are seeking motivated, career and customer oriented Systems Integrator interested in joining our team in St. Louis, MO and exploring an exciting and challenging career with Unisys Federal Systems.

 

Responsibilities:

Performs technical planning and full lifecycle SE&I (e.g., Requirements and Interface Definition, Enterprise Test Planning, Effectivity Definition and Management, and Milestone Readiness Planning and Assessment), for the NSG ground enterprise mission capabilities, leveraging Mission Partner systems and GEOINT source data, to integrate a new Motion Imagery resource into the NSG and drive Mission tradecraft transformation, with particular focus on NGA Segment Integration. Ensures systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional and timeline analysis, trade studies, AoAs, requirements allocation, and interface definition, translating customer requirements into system specs/capability descriptions. Maintains strong awareness of technical IT, GEOINT domain, TCPED (Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, Dissemination) trends, ongoing IC initiatives (e.g., IC Cloud), and mission/business requirements.

 

Successful candidates must:

  • Demonstrate the ability to lead efforts to coordinate enterprise-level integration efforts with interdependent NGA and NSG systems to deliver enterprise capabilities
  • Coordinate with and document NGA TCPED-related (Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination) segments’ software/hardware design, implementation, and test schedule to ensure alignment with agreed to NSG enterprise implementation, integration, verification and validation, and transition plans and schedules
  • Assess segment capability deliveries against enterprise-level requirements 
  • Evaluate system baselines to ensure they are under configuration control 
  • Coordinate both internally and externally with NGA segments and IC partners to ensure NSG enterprise baseline maturity alignment and all test data and resources are identified and available for events/activities
  • Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Leading full Systems Engineering (SE) lifecycle efforts to coordinate with NGA system segments to ensure timely implementation of capabilities to be integrated into the NGA and NSG enterprise 
  • Documenting/reviewing TCPED segment schedules and readiness plans relevant to enterprise capability delivery schedules 
  • Evaluating acquisition roadmaps, identifying capability gaps and developing mitigation plans; developing and executing time-phased epochs for migrating new capabilities to the operational baseline
  • Understanding the operational effectiveness and suitability of NGA system segment modifications to ensure minimum acceptable enterprise-level operational performance requirements have been satisfied
  • Reviewing NSG RFCs to assess and identify functional and operational baseline impacts; coordinating NGA segment impacts to NSG RFCs, preparing RFC redline changes and inputs to Modification Packages
  • Leading, coordinating, and participating in NGA and joint enterprise test activities and events to confirm the NSG enterprise design solutions satisfy specified requirements
  • Participating in Milestone Readiness Events (waterfall and agile) to evaluate segment readiness and Major System Acquisition (MSA) Control gates 
  • Leading or participating in Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) and Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) to serve as focal points for managing project execution, resolving enterprise issues, and driving cross-segment integration
  • Leading the identification, tracking, mitigation, and resolution of technical risks and issues related to segment integration
  • Managing segment GFI/GFE requests and driving to closure (e.g., cross-Agency coordination of test data needs)
  • Conducting studies, AoAs, and analysis of design, to identify dependencies and issues requiring corrective action or decisions to maintain mission capability cost, schedule, and performance

Requirements

 

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, or equivalent experience
  • 15 years of Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) experience (e.g., capabilities implementation and SLC process experience), with 10 years of recent agency-specific experience
  • Demonstrated system integration experience with one or more NGA segments (e.g., ODS, NCL, FCMS, IEC, GIMS, GOM, Cedalion, iStore, Active Earthscape, ASC, GSP, GSR, and/or GVS) and understanding of the interdependencies on NSG capabilities
  • Ability to lead coordination efforts with NGA segments to drive cross-segment integration and capture and document schedule, test and transition events relevant to planned enterprise-level development
  • Knowledge of NSG change management processes (e.g., RFC process)
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Good customer teaming skills; ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams
  • Strong interpersonal, problem solving, organizational and multi-tasking skills

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • MS in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, or related scientific or technical discipline
  • IT credentials and certifications (e.g., DAWIA, PMP, INCOSE, ITIL, CISSP and SAFe Agile)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary project teams 
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, and ability to lead technical forums
  • Experience with Agile engineering and development methods (user story generation, sprint/scrum development, backlog management, and test-drive development)
