Summary / Description

We are currently seeking a motivated and customer oriented support and adoption specialist intgerested in joining our team to support both technical user issues and administrative functions for services in Office 365 in Washington, DC. This includes primarily Exchange On-line/Outlook in an Exchange Hybrid configuration. Skype for Business, One-Drive for Business, and SharePoint On-line are all pluses.

 

In this role, you will provide services supporting our federal client’s user base. The candidate will work to support end user issues, provide light end-user training (how-to’s), and support Office 365 Exchange Online administrative functions in a hybrid environment. The candidate should also have a strong focus on assisting to drive user adoption of these technologies. The core business hours of this operation are Monday through Friday.

 

 

Daily Tasks include but are not limited to

  • Engaging with client end users to resolve incidents and problems related to Microsoft Office 365 and Outlook client using ServiceNow
  • Answer inquiries for escalated issues
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Escalate trouble tickets in adherence to standard operating procedures to include documenting customer contact and resolution
  • Author and validation Standard Operating Procedures for the Messaging Services team
  • Engage with vendors as necessary for escalated issues
  • Work in adherence to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Support the DR and business continuity plans as defined
  • Develop, cultivate, and manage client relationships with the client, delivering as scheduled and budgeted

 

 

Requirements

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree and 10 years experience
  • Must have at least 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Messaging and Collaboration services including 3+ years supporting Microsoft Office 365 enterprise environments and users. Must be an expert with Microsoft Office 365 Cloud Technologies, Microsoft Office predominately Microsoft Outlook, PST files, and other email client services and act as the single escalation point for issues
  • Familiar with mail hygiene services such as anti-spam, anti-virus, quarantine, etc.
  • Familiar with SAML authentication and provisioning services such as CA SSO;
  • Familiar with Mobile Device Management systems with Office 365
  • Familiar with Federal Government Trusted Internet Connection (TIC) implementation
  • DHS MTIPS services
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Expressroute a plus
  • Azure AD Connect (DirSync)
  • Microsoft DLP
  • Microsoft System Center Design and Administration
  • Able to think logically and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment
  • Requires exceptional oral and written communication skills and the ability to engage with VIP users
  • Capacity to gain a thorough knowledge of the relevant specialty area
  • Willing to continuously update personal IT skills and knowledge
  • Some after-hours/weekend support will be required
  • Federal Government experience preferred
  • Office 365 certifications a plus
  • US Citizenship required
  • Ability to pass Government agency background check required

 

Position will be located in downtown Washington DC for a federal client less than 3 blocks from the Metro.
